- Campaigned for two district construction and renovation projects:
Pass '97 for Campbell and Edgar construction and renovations, and
Bulldog '05 renovations of the high school and adjoining fields.

- Advocated to stop reporting out on class rank, 2005-2006
- Co-founded "Student Alumni College Fair" at MHS, 2006
- Advocated to establish inter-scholastic sports program at Edgar Middle School, 2000
- Advocated to establish co-ed Middle School interscholastic swim team, 2001
- Co-Founded the Edgar Middle School Booster Club, 2001
- Fundraised and purchased the Edgar Middle School Lake Avenue Announcement Sign, 2004
Accomplishments while serving on the Metuchen Board of Education:
- Supported staffing the high school with three full time guidance counselors
- Serving on Board of Directors, Middlesex Regional Educational Services Commission (mresc.k12.nj.us)
- Co-Created the Senior Seminar to teach students about the ramifications of becoming 18
- Advocated for 9th and 10th grade parent/student college nights
- Advocated to update the Metuchen High School student profile
- Advocated for Metuchen High School as Princeton Review site
- Advocated to change course title of Advanced Math to Pre-Calculus Honors
- Advocated to create the High School Boys Swim Team and add an additional Track & Field Coach
- Suggested the creation of inventories of Athletic Uniforms and Equipment
- Collaborated on the creation of the district's new Concussion Protocol (using IMPACT software)

District wide grade articulation to coordinate district curriculum.
Increased classroom rigor.

Lighter backpacks.
Reporting students’ academic level assignments for Math and Language Arts to Campbell parents.
- Edgar & MHS:
College preparatory guidance curriculum for grades 6-12.
Career days for grades 6-12.
Expanded exit interviews for 8th and 12th grades as an additional self-evaluation tool for the district.
- MHS:
Changing the name of Modern Algebra to Algebra II Honors.
Offering AP/Chem & AP/Bio to 11th grade in preparation for SAT II's.
Adding an optional extra period to the high school to increase course offerings.
